Ordering, Sales Terms, Payments & Delivery Information Order Processing

Secure online ordering is available for all products because the security of your personal and payment details is important to us. Once you have added required items into the shopping basket, click on "Checkout" and you will see that the web address changes to:

This means that you are able to enter your details within a secure SSL encrypted webpage. The same security level applies when you connect into PayPal or Google Checkout to complete payment. All listed pricing is subject to the addition of UK VAT at 20.00%, added after goods are placed into shopping basket. There are options at the checkout to make payment by Debit Card, Credit Card (Select either "Pay by Credit Card with PayPal" or click on Google Checkout to pay with a debit or credit card), PayPal Transfer, Bank Transfer, Cheque or Postal Order. All of the details needed to complete your transaction with us are provided on screen via our shopping cart system (Romancart).

If you prefer to order by telephone please call the office on 0161 355 7 355. All completed orders placed via our website are immediately confirmed by email to the email address provided with your order form. Dispatch confirmations are sent by email on the day your order is shipped.

New "2,4,6,8,10" Loyalty Scheme From January 2012 we are introducing a new loyalty scheme which is available to all new and existing customers ordering from us from 1st January 2012. After completing your first order with us this year we will send you a unique customer promotional code which you can use at our online checkout to gain a 2% discount on your next order with us (discount on the value of goods before the addition of shipping charge + VAT). The discount will increase to 4%, then 6%, then 8% on each subsequent order, and will finally reach a 10% discount on receipt of your 6th order. The 10% level is the maximum discount level but once achieved it can then be used for life !! Just keep a note of your unique customer promotional code and use it each time you place an order with us, your discount level will automatically be increased with each order until you achieve your lifetime 10% discount on all orders with us at Smart Inkjet.

Delivery within the UK is charged at £7.99 + VAT and is on a next working day basis when orders are recieved with payment before 3.30pm. It is indicated whether items are in stock next to each product range on our online product lists and order forms.

On items that are listed as 2-3 working days delivery we will do our best to deliver sooner, however, please do take this time scale into account when placing orders with us.

There is now a low rate 2-3 working day shipping rate of £3.99 + VAT which is available within the UK only.

Delivery to Europe is charged at £18.99 and to international customers at £49.99. Customers in the Republic of Ireland should use the EU Shipping rate.

You should allow one additional day for delivery of goods if you are based in the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and in some remote parts of the UK and Northern Ireland but please use the UK shipping rates for delivery to these destinations.

All UK orders are dispatched by Courier or using the Royal Mail's Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery Service. EU & International shipments are usually sent with DHL.

Unfortunately we are unable to deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Public holidays unless by prior arrangement.

Important Additional Information Goods will only be shipped after payment has been received, notification of completed debit or credit card payments or transfers via PayPal or Google Checkout accounts is normally recieved immediately upon completion by customers. We accept payments by cheque, postal order and bank transfer; the delivery of goods will take place only after funds have cleared in our account unless by special arrangement with ourselves.

EU & International Customers & Shipments We are able to accept orders through our online shopping cart system from all customers in the UK, EU and Internationally. Orders from customers in EU countries do no need to pay UK VAT if a valid EU VAT Registration number is provided at the online checkout or by email before the dispatch of goods. It may be possible that we can improve on our standard international shipping rate for you, if you wish to email us the type and quantity of goods required, along with your delivery address, we will get a courier quotation and advise you of the cost and delivery timescale.

Returns / Refunds Policy We are governed and comply with UK Distance Selling Regulations. If any Smart Inkjet product fails to perform adequately as per the product description on this website we will be happy to provide you with a full refund but please notify us within 14 days after delivery and request the return either by telephone or email. Goods returned without due notification and agreement by ourselves will not be accepted. Goods ordered in error may be accepted for return however they will always be subject to a restocking fee of 20% of goods value and the return of goods is at our discretion. Under these circumstances goods must be returned un-opened and in a re-sellable condition. It is advised that all customers be sure to check the suitability of goods for machine compatibility or as suitable for the required purpose before purchasing. The cost of return delivery will be paid by the customer except in the case of damaged or faulty goods. If any of your goods are recieved damaged you should notify us immediately by telephone or email and all goods and packaging should be retained for inspection by ourselves or our couriers in order that we can raise a claim with them or the product manufacturers. Refunds will be issued using the details provided when your order was placed, i.e. cheque payments will be refunded by cheque, debit or credit card payments will be refunded only to the card number used to process the initial transaction.

Privacy Policy We fully respect your privacy and do not disclose or retain any of your financial details. Personal information is never supplied to any third party company except where necessary in providing details to couriers or to the Royal Mail for the delivery of goods, or in the instance of fraud prevention or in the handling of customer complaints with our manufacturer and supplier partners.
